Registrar – General Medicine - Immediate start in 2024

We are keen to hear from Registrars looking for new opportunities as we have positions available immediately in General Medicine at Rotorua Hospital through to January 2025.

You will enjoy a high level of support and training from Consultants and other senior medical staff, and will also have the opportunity to teach other RMOs, and Medical Students.

We are interested in hearing from RMO’s that are eligible for, or already hold, registration with Medical Council New Zealand.
You must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand and be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You can check your eligibility for registration by visiting the Council's website at Medical Council New Zealand
Candidates who are not currently registered with the New Zealand Medical Council should be aware that it is a requirement of the NZ Medical Council that your qualifications are approved through EPIC. If you have a commitment to working in New Zealand it is highly recommended that you start this process as soon as possible to allow your subsequent registration to be undertaken in a timely fashion. Suitable candidates must have the following included in their application:
- an up to date CV
- an up to date cover letter
- Three written references on the attached national reference template form or a RP6 form for international applicants – referees will not be contacted; they must be written via these forms.

Salary range: $113,007 - $168,400 per annum pro rated
