We have an opportunity in our team for a smart and digitally savvy Engagement Advisor. We are looking for someone with experience in writing and creating content and who is eager to deliver engagement products and initiatives which support and elevate our regulatory effort and engagement with our audiences.

Regulatory Services aims to minimise harm and maximise benefits through effective oversight of anti-money laundering and countering financing terrorism and gambling regulatory systems. We are a responsive risk-based regulator that uses innovation and collaboration to maximise our impact to achieve desired outcomes for our communities.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for someone who is motivated and energised and does not mind rolling-up their sleeves and getting stuck into the doing. Someone who can support the development of implementation and engagement plans for our regulatory interventions.
This key role in a busy team will see you work across all aspects of engagement and sector education to raise awareness and drive behaviour change to increase compliance in our regulatory systems. You will be required to turn ideas and information into content that is written, verbal, and visual across channels which are tailored and targeted to the stakeholders who use them or who would benefit from them.
You will be managing engagement with many diverse stakeholders including placing a customer lens over the work that we do and provide our stakeholders with timely and up to date information including, newsletters, web content and stakeholder events.
When it comes to executing the work, you will have the support of the broader team, which will include a team of engagement specialists.
What you will bring to the role:
- Ability to build and sustain collaborative relationships.
- A high standard of verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in the use of technology and engagement tools
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with a 'can-do' attitude
- An understanding of machinery of government and relevant regulatory systems
- Experience in engaging with Māori & Pacific communities will be an advantage.
- Be eligible to work in New Zealand
