Mō te tūnga | About the role
Come and join our vibrant team in this new role where you'll be working in the People and High-Performance team providing high quality, legally robust and best-practice people advice to Senior Leaders and their people leadership teams on all aspects of HR and the employee lifecycle from recruitment to succession planning.
You will participate in position management, job evaluation, performance development, ER, and workforce planning, along with many other HR generalist areas and delivery of the HR work and change management programmes. You will provide coaching advice and support to People Leaders to support the development of a positive workplace - including resolving performance issues, conflict resolution and developing good working relationships, ensuring compliance with people-related policies and procedures and legal requirements through coaching People Leaders to proactively manage ER issues and risks at the lowest level of escalation.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring
You are an efficient and effective HR Business partner that can provide structure, calm and unflappable resolve to senior stakeholders. With at least 5 years' experience as a trusted partner that's positive, resilient and practical.
Some other key requirements of the role include but not limited to:
- Understanding HR best practice in both the private and public sectors
- An exceptional eye for detail
- Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
- Working knowledge of current NZ employment law and HR practices
- Ability to deliver clear messaging to different audiences
- Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture

Annual remuneration for this position starts between $125,926 and $139,459 dependant on experience.
