The Radiology Departments across North Shore & Waitākere Hospitals are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced PACS Medical Imaging Technologist to join their team.
This role supports and works alongside the RIS/PACS Team Lead in the maintenance and operational efficiency of the Te Whatu Ora Waitematā Radiology IT systems & Digital Radiology Equipment. A key part of the role is assisting with operational service efficiency, providing assistance and support to clinical staff in the department, and ensuring a high quality, customer-focused service is provided.
The successful applicant will hold a Bachelor of Health Science - Medical Imaging (or equivalent), current registration with the NZMRTB, and be enrolled in a recognised Continuing Professional Development programme. Experience with Health Applications, Radiology Information Systems, and a demonstrated ability to work within a collaborative team are also a must.
Ideally, the successful applicant will also have a minimum of 2 years post graduate experience as an MIT, and experience of PACS Administration.
