The opportunity:
This is an exciting time for Regulatory Services as we begin to implement our new strategy and work to ensure people have trust and confidence in the integrity and stability of financial and gambling systems and reduce opportunities for gambling harm, money-laundering and terrorism financing.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Advisor Risk to join our Wellington office. This is a new role where you will have the opportunity to reset our risk management framework. You will be responsible for building strong risk frameworks and developing and delivering a structured approach to identifying and managing risk.
About you:
Key to your success in the role will be your sound knowledge of, and practical experience in, best practice risk frameworks, systems and processes.
The experience, knowledge, and skills you will bring to this position will be:
- An understanding of regulatory stewardship and regulatory system approach.
- Experience supporting a risk function in a large and complex environment.
- Proven ability to develop trust and credibility with senior leaders and staff and build strong working relationships.
- Experience with risk management software.
