Through integration and collaboration, we’re building a health system underpinned by partnership, equity, sustainability, whānau-centred care, and excellence.
About the Role:
We are excited to be seeking two Nurse Practitioners for our small Central Hawkes Bay Rural Health Centre in Te Matau a Māui.
Located around 50km from the Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Hastings, the Central Hawkes Bay Health Centre provides health care to the community with six inpatient beds, outpatient department and community teams. You will be supported by Geriatricians, Older Persons health care teams and the community palliative care team.
This is a part-time shared role with an opportunity to negotiate FTE. For those who wish to increase their FTE, an additional opportunity exists to work with a local Aged Care provider, which will further support the Central Hawkes Bay Community.
There are large pockets of need in the community, so your understanding of the healthcare and cultural needs of Māori and Pacifika people and the ability to put this at the centre of all you do, is vital to this role.
