About the Role
We are seeking a booking clerk to join our team within the outpatient clinic, Meade Clinical Centre. MCC Outpatient Clinic is a busy, fast paced environment providing support to many different specialities.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Maintain accurate patient information
- Schedule outpatient clinic appointments
- Supporting services to meet Ministry of Health targets
- Liaising with staff and patients
About you
Skills and experience you’ll need to be considered for the role:
- Excellent communication skills with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Strong customer service focus
- Proven and demonstrated experience in an administration role and computer skills
- Have excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong administration and computer skills, pervious administration and hospital system experience would be an advantage but are not essential as training will be provided.
- Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
