We have a fixed term opportunity for a Team Leader to lead a small Secretariat supporting the Ministerial Advisory Committee (the Committee) working on the closure of greyhound racing. You will lead and deliver advice commissioned by the Committee, on various issues related to the closure.
You will be able to:
- Work independently to senior leaders, providing high quality advice
- Understand machinery of government processes
- Effectively manage and lead people, providing mentoring and coaching to junior staff to support their growth and development; and
- Deal with a wide variety of stakeholders.
You will have:
- Excellent communication, research, and analytical skills
- Advanced critical thinking skills and the ability to deal with ambiguity
- Experience in developing advice for senior leaders; and
- A tertiary qualification that demonstrates your critical thinking training (for example in policy, law, economics, or another relevant field).

You may be a senior analyst looking to take the next step in your career into people management or have had previous people management experience.
