We have a fixed term opportunity for a Project Coordinator to work in a small Secretariat supporting the Ministerial Advisory Committee (the Committee) working on the closure of greyhound racing. You will work with the Team Leader to create and track project documentation.
You will be able to:
- Create and track various project documentation to ensure work is delivered on time
- Set up meetings, including arranging venues and ensuring people are informed of the meetings, and accurately recording minutes and action points
- Prepare papers for meetings in an accurate and timely fashion
- Prepare and distribute formal communications as required
- Collect, summarise and analyse information as needed
- Produce reports as required; and
- Maintain the resource plan, risk register and change register, ensuring any action plans are followed up and resolved.
You will have:
- Practical experience in project coordination (reporting, steering group preparation, document management, etc)
- Knowledge of and ability to use computer applications effectively for a wide variety of tasks; proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Word, Teams and e-mail
- Knowledge and experience of risk and issue management
- Excellent administration and organisational skills: the ability to plan, manage and follow through, to ensure the best workflow
- Is detailed focused with the ability to anticipate risks and the consequences of decisions and commitments; and
- Sound communication skills - both oral and written - able to produce clear, concise and fit-for-purpose project documentation.
