You will thrive in a culture of continuous improvement applying your technical leadership, problem-solving, planning, and resource management experience as you proactively grow a community of practice with technical skills and capabilities. This involves advising on strategic direction and operational best practices, contributing to relevant technical practices as needed to ensure skills and knowledge are maintained. Key to these roles include:
- Setting standards for practice, such as coding methods and system maintenance.
- Serving as the subject matter expert within the practice field.
- Owning the area of practice, which includes being accountable for all documentation, ways of working, and standards.
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring
As the community of practice will look to you for direction and training, you will demonstrate:
- Extensive years relevant work experience in one or more digital delivery domains (data, software or process)
- Excellent influencing and coaching skills
- Ability to analyse and interpret delivery performance and relate this to technical development plans (people and skills) to address performance gaps
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written to be able to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders at various levels.
