About the Role
The successful applicant will need excellent communication and time management skills, have the ability to work in a busy unpredictable work environment, have the ability to engage and work collaboratively in our integrated team, and have a positive attitude which will reflect positive patient care.
About the Team
Tokoroa radiology have a small team which includes 3 part time radiographers and one clinical assistant. We have one x ray room with the latest digital x ray equipment installed this month and one digital mobile x ray unit. Tokoroa Hospital has a 17 bed inpatient unit, a busy emergency department, a four bed primary birthing unit, outpatients department serviced by visiting specialists and a number of community services. GP practices and other health providers are co-located on the site.
About you
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- Experience in upholding Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
- Full registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologist Board with a general scope of practice and a current practising certificate
- Relevant experience
- Confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and team skills
