Health New Zealand – Lakes (Rotorua and Taupo Hospitals)
Permanent, Full or Part-time, Monday to Friday + On Call

About the Role
We are seeking a Psychiatrist with experience in General Adult in a Community setting to join our passionate team dedicated to putting people first, integrating Te Ao Maori into every day practice, leading with kindness and achieving excellence.
We have a flexible operating model whereby the role will be based with the Adult community teams. The role is based in Rotorua but could involve some in-reach to the satellite office in Taupo.
About you
- A broad range of general psychiatric skills with specific experience in Community Adult Mental Health
Hold or be eligible for Vocational Registration with Medical Council of NZ - Enjoy teaching – Rotorua is a teaching hospital with 4th, 5th and 6th year medical students as well as registrars training for fellowship with the RANZCP
- Busy role with a broad variety of general psychiatry
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.

Awhe utu / Salary range
$ 185,380 to $ 267,980 pro-rated to hours worked plus Senior Medical Officer allowances.
