Mō te tūranga mahi | About the role
As our Manager Workplace Integrity, you will develop the function as a Centre of Excellence and ensure there is common understanding of ACC's integrity operating model and relevant policies and procedures across the organisation.
You will be responsible for managing the Workplace Integrity team in developing, implementing and leading strategies to minimise internal fraud, inappropriate / unethical behaviour and managing declarations of interest at ACC, responding to allegations (including Protected Disclosures), and working with stakeholders to implement effective guidance, policy, practice and controls.
This is a permanent role preferably based in Wellington, but Auckland based applicants will be considered.
The base salary range for this role is $138,301 - $195,248 with appointment within the range depending on skills and experience and internal relativities. ACC also offers 9% superannuation on top of base salary.

We're looking for a positive and energetic people leader who can role model strong and inspirational leadership. You'll have excellent interpersonal, networking and relationship building skills, a natural curiosity for identifying better ways of working and the ability to drive high performance in a collaborative environment.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- An appropriate tertiary qualification (e.g. demonstrating forensic / accounting capabilities) or extensive and comparable relevant experience.
- Proven deep operational experience in mixed work environments, including Public Sector Agencies.
- Experience of analysing evidence from multiple sources using different techniques to reach sound findings, drawing well-judged conclusions and making appropriate recommendations.
- Proven ability to lead the strategic planning, prioritisation, and implementation of an organisation wide integrity framework that identifies and manages integrity risk.
- Ability to identify systemic issues and demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining an environment focused on continuous improvement to enhance organisational performance.
- Proven ability in written, verbal and listening skills, including writing high-quality reports that convey complex ideas in plain English.
- Proven leadership skills including demonstrated ability to engage and motivate staff and an ability to build a strong high performing team in a complex organisation.
- Proven ability to develop trust and credibility with Executive and Enterprise leaders and build strong working relationships.
- Self-management including the ability to manage own time, identify priorities and demonstrate good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work sensitively and impartially in a confidential manner.
- A commitment to providing the highest possible standards of customer service.
A Practicing certificate and / or experience as a NZ Police Detective is desirable, or extensive comparable experience in similar roles within Integrity and / or Personnel Security functions.
