The Regulatory Planning, Practice, and Notifications Team (ROPPN) enables Maritime NZ's regulatory operations by providing three foundational functions: regulatory operations planning and performance, regulatory practice design and support, and a notifications and enquiries receipt and triage.
The 'regulatory operations planning and performance' function ensures that the Regulatory Operations Group has the necessary tools and oversight capability to monitor and manage its regulatory efforts.
The 'regulatory practice' function ensures that our front-line regulatory functions reflect regulatory best practice by supporting the development, maintenance and management of practice guidance and tools.
The 'notifications and enquiries' function ensures information and enquiries provided to Maritime NZ are properly and effectively received, managed, triaged and addressed.
Te tūnga | The role
As the Administrator Regulatory Planning, Practice and Notifications, you will be responsible for providing strong support to the General Manager, including inbox and diary management. You will also provide support across the three ROPPN teams and the Regulatory Operations Group, and actively contribute to the Business Support Group.
In addition, you'll carry out finance and corporate related processes, minute taking, organise travel arrangements and provide support on various projects within the team.
Nōu te rourou | What you bring
- Proven experience and success in an administrative role supporting managers or teams
- Proven experience in diary and inbox management as well as minute taking and writing agendas,
- Sound experience using digital tools and technologies including Microsoft Office and document management systems
- Strong organisational skills, good time management and detail orientated
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exposure to working with budgets and accruals

Salary range $60,862.20 - $73,763.80 depending on skills and experience plus superannuation.
