About the Role
- Senior clinical role, where prior leadership experience is preferred
- Improve the experience for health care consumers
- Provide leadership and support
- Work in partnership with educators to identify ongoing learning needs of staff
- Minimum 5 years post-registration experience
About the Team/Location
The Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (ICAMHS) is a regional service for infants, children and youth aged up to 18 years with moderate to severe mental health conditions. Our disciplinary team is made up of psychiatrists, mental health nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists and social workers, all trained in a range of treatment modalities.
About you
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
- You will have excellent communication and problem solving skills and the ability to build positive relationships with a variety of health professionals.
- You will also be highly organised and motivated by work that is both busy and challenging.
