Mō te tūranga mahi | About the role
This role sits within the Performance & Analytics (P&A) function whose purpose is to support effective decision making by providing intelligence, an integrated performance narrative and drive improved performance and client outcomes.
As a Performance Advisor, you will be curious, courageous, transparent, and able to work independently. You will provide future-focused performance advice to leaders, managers and other advisors, ensuring they understand how ACC funded services are performing and the potential impacts from decisions on system performance. You will work both independently and with your P&A colleagues on various projects, focusing on regular monitoring and reporting with an emphasis on accurate, consistent and meaningful advice.
This is a hands-on role where you will contribute to improving performance through your analysis, insights and data evaluation. You will ensure the right information is shared with teams to ensure all people in Aotearoa New Zealand experience accessible services and improved outcomes and the Scheme remains sustainable for future generations.
What we are looking for from you to be successful in this role:
- A data enthusiast - analysing data, evaluating what it means, asking the right questions to truly and deeply understand what it is showing, sharing insights and being a catalyst for sound decision making
- The ability to draw a consistent narrative from multiple sources of information and tell that story clearly
- Confident in contributing to key decision making that influences service improvements
- Be an enthusiastic and positive part of a team that is trusted and relied upon.
- Highly refined report writing skills.
- Both sufficiently self-motivated to work independently but also open to others' views and input
- Ability to build strong and effective relationships, work collaboratively and support changes to the operating model that helps ACC deliver on its strategic intent.
- Strong knowledge of ACC's service offerings and operating model would be an advantage.
The base salary range for this role is ($101,287 - $119,161) with appointment depending on skills and experience and internal relativities. ACC also offers 9% superannuation on top of base salary.
