The Role:
We are seeking a passionate Clinical Specialty Nurse (CSN)/Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) – Acute Cardiology to join our dedicated team. This role provides an exciting opportunity to apply your specialist nursing expertise in managing complex cardiac patients while leading and innovating care in a multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical specialist nursing knowledge, assessment, and care for acute cardiology patients.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Lead and support clinical practice improvements, protocols, and research initiatives.
- Educate and mentor nursing staff, primary care providers, and patients on cardiovascular disease management.
- Ensure evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement in cardiology services.
- Actively participate in professional cardiology groups and research activities.

About You:
- NZ Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
- 5+ years of recent/current experience in Cardiology, in an acute setting in NZ
- Relevant Postgraduate qualification completed or near completion
