About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in our General Surgical Outpatients team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing patient care plans, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing education to patients and their whānau. Your expertise and compassionate approach will help ensure the best outcomes for our patients during their outpatient journey. This is a fixed term position for 1 year, 72 hours per fortnight.

Our team of experienced nursing professionals provides comprehensive care for patients requiring surgical intervention and ongoing treatment. We work closely with surgeons, specialists, and allied health professionals to ensure holistic and effective patient management.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current New Zealand Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
- Hold a current New Zealand working visa
- Experience in surgical or outpatient nursing (preferred)
- Experienced in the management of wound care
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
