We're on the hunt for a Support Services Officer who can bring their exceptional administrative skills and strong invoice billing and reporting experience to the All of Government Services Delivery (AoGSD) team in the Digital Services branch at the Department of Internal Affairs.
About the role
Working as part of a small team you'll be responsible for all billing and invoicing activities, including but not limited to:
- Preparing monthly and annual billing reports. Complete end to end invoicing for all fee-generating products and services across the AoGSD portfolio for all consuming agencies or suppliers ensuring that the correct quality assurance steps are followed.
- Liaise with Finance, Purchasing and Accounting teams to optimize billing and debt recovery processes.
- Liaise with agencies and suppliers to manage their queries regarding Lead Agency Fee invoices and/or resolve issues with supplier billing errors.
- Create and maintain purchase orders for all AoGSD procurement activities. Manage the goods receipting and coding invoices to related purchase orders.
- Financial reconciliation of purchase orders.
- Be proficient with the use of MS Office applications, i.e. Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Proactively working to ensure timelines and deadlines are met.
- Adapting to feedback to continually improve quality and performance.
In this role you'll be responsible for supporting AoGSD's large portfolio of digital products and services. This includes supporting consuming government agencies and suppliers.
The salary band is from $62,947 - $78,334 and this appointment will be made dependent on relevant skills and experience to the role.
