Salary: $70,970 - $78,397 (pro-rated)

About the Role
We are looking for an office administrator to join our friendly team based in the Therapies/Older Person Rehabilitation Service (OPRS) Departments at Hutt Hospital.
We are looking for empathetic person with office experience, who is motivated to learn in a changing environment. The position involves outstanding and courteous frontline reception, booking appointments, administration support and responding to telephone enquiries with a friendly professional manner. There is a large variety of general office tasks, and a sound computer knowledge will be needed.
This role works 4 days a week, 8:00am - 4:30pm and we are flexible on which days you work.
About the Team/Service/Location
This is an opportunity to be part of a small friendly team working in the Therapy Department and (OPRS) which includes Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Therapy, Pain Management, Geriatrician and Hand Therapy Services located at Hutt Hospital.
This is a very busy department where you will be working with our professional and friendly teams that have a can-do attitude, where patients are valued and made welcome.
About you
We need someone who has the following skills and experience:
- Strong customer service with experience relating to a wide range of ethnic groups
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent front-line reception and telephone manner
- Ability to work autonomously and also as part of the team
- Excellent computer skills, Microsoft suite, Single Clinical Portal, WebPas, MAP
- Ability to deliver a high standard of work with empathy to all and excellent attention to detail
- Previous knowledge and experience in a health environment would be of advantage
