Senior Business Analyst at Natural Hazards Commission Toka Tū Ake , Wellington - Wairarapa

We're on a journey to grow our business analysis team in the information and digital space and are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join us and make a difference! You will be a problem solver who has a focus on getting things done and the ability to influence, collaborate and know when to delegate. You will be able to juggle multiple product streams/systems and hit the ground running, ensuring that requirements are clearly documented, validated and understood by the business.
This role will be located in our Wellington or Christchurch office
To be successful in this role:
- You will own and build key relationships, manage stakeholder expectations and confidently share your recommendations with senior management.
- You're a savvy communicator who can act as a bridge between the business and IT, simplifying technical jargon and be a trusted advisor and subject matter expert.

To be successful in this role you will require the following:
- 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst working across software technologies
- Elicitation and elaboration of requirements, resolving conflicting or competing business requirements across business units
- Feature breakdown into user stories and development requirements
- Working with development partners to support build/test/business change
- Work closely with Product owner to establish and support ways of working
- Ability to effectively manage conflicting demands of stakeholders.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to manage and build strong partnerships.
- Flexible mindset and the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
- Experience in Salesforce delivery and website development is desirable
