We're looking for a dynamic and strategic leader to take on the role of Levy Systems & Operations Manager. If you're passionate about making a difference and have the skills to lead innovative programs, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.
As the Levy Systems & Operations Manager, reporting to the Manager Treasury & Revenue Operations, you'll be at the forefront of strategic development and operational delivery for ACC's business incentive products, programs, and levy systems. You'll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and supporting initiatives that drive our mission forward.
Key outcomes include:
- Lead with Impact: Oversee the Experience Rating program and ensure the effective management of grouping structures, transfer processes, and specialist elements such as ER Grouping, Fatal Claims, High-Cost Claims, and more.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Provide expert oversight to ensure levy classifications are monitored proactively, business incentives like Experience Rating are fully supported, and CPX escalations are resolved efficiently.
- Collaborate for Success: Work closely with the Revenue Operations Leadership Team to inform and support the development of new incentive products, ensuring your team is ready to provide top-tier operational support.
- Enhance Invoicing Processes: Lead invoicing activities, leveraging data, insights, and customer feedback to continuously improve our service across all channels.
- Champion Digital Transformation: Collaborate with Customer Connection teams to advance our digital strategies, reduce manual efforts, and implement a performance and quality framework that supports our shift to digital and simplification.
- Lead a High-Performing Team: Build and lead a cohesive, motivated team, fostering an environment where innovation and constructive challenge are encouraged.
This is a permanent role, based in Wellington.
The base salary range for this role is $138,301 - $195,248 with appointment depending on skills and experience and internal relativities. ACC also offers 9% superannuation on top of base salary.

Mōu | About you
We're looking for skills and experience in the following:
- Strong understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application in policy, systems, and processes.
- Proven leadership in a complex, legislated environment with a focus on stakeholder management and risk assessment.
- Tertiary qualification in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in developing and managing KPIs, people, and financial resources.
- Expertise in incentives products or levies, with a knack for driving continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
