About the Role

As a medical typist, you will provide a transcription and word processing service for clinical staff at Te Whatu Ora Taranaki, including the processing and linking of typed documents to the electronic medical record.

About the Team/Service/ Location

Our dedicated team of medical typists offers transcription services to clinicians across Taranaki, including visiting specialists. We take pride in delivering a service that is both efficient and effective, supporting the hospital and its patients.

About you

Are you the person we need? Do you possess the following skills and qualities:

· Proficiency in Microsoft Word and strong computer skills.

· Experience with Winscribe transcription.

· Knowledge or understanding of medical terminology.

· The ability to work independently.

· Effective time management.

· Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
