About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Operations Manager to lead our Satellite Cleaning Services at Te Whatu Ora – Counties Manukau. In this pivotal role, you will provide leadership and operational cleaning delivery of effective day to day non-clinical support service, whilst maintaining strong and positive relationships with the cleaning staff and all departments.

You will be responsible for;

• To lead and inspire a team of Supervisors and Cleaners across multiple locations
• Manage daily operations, staff performance, rostering, and recruitment
• Drive excellence in cleaning service delivery aligned with organisational values
• Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and contract efficiencies
• Champion continuous quality improvement and health & safety compliance
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet evolving service needs

About You

You’re a team player with a positive outlook and strong work ethic. You will also have;

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in management, preferably in a large and complex organisation
• Strong leadership, communication, and staff development skills
• Sound knowledge of operational budget management and service optimisation
