Waitemata District is a leading provider of healthcare services in Auckland's Northern and Western districts. As our district continues to grow, both North Shore and Waitakere Hospitals have seen significant expansion.

An exciting opportunity is now available at North Shore Hospital for a Senior Registered Nurse. We are seeking a Charge Nurse Manager for our Transitional Lounge. This is a permanent full-time role in a fast-paced environment, offering ample opportunities for you to develop your leadership and management skills with our full support. You will lead our Transition Lounge team, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth transitions for patients awaiting discharge/transfer from the hospital!

If you are an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in professional and clinical leadership, as well as post-graduate qualifications, we encourage you to apply. In this role, you will be responsible for the professional development of staff, ensuring they provide outstanding clinical care. You will manage clinical risk, implement new systems, and improve patient flow through our services to achieve high-quality care outcomes. The ideal candidate will have significant nursing experience, including some leadership exposure, and post-graduate qualifications. A minimum of five years' post registration experience, and a RN level 4 is required. Your expertise in clinical leadership, contemporary nursing practices, and passion for developing nursing staff and providing exceptional patient care will set you apart.
