About the Role

We are seeking a psychologist to work with the Lakes Oncology Team in the hospital and community setting. Provision of psychological care and counselling for Cancer patients undergoing various treatments, particularly in developing coping strategies for treatment compliance , resolving issues around cancer diagnosis and treatment provoked situations.

About you

The successful applicant will have:

  • Full registration with the New Zealand Psychologists Board.
  • Full member of either the New Zealand Psychological Society or the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists.
  • Masters Degree and Post-Graduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent).
