About the role - Kōrero mō te tūranga

 

As the Application & Process Analyst, you’ll work in the Business Process Management (BPM) unit to support their content delivery model and handle maintenance of the Business Process Portal (BPP) application. The BPM unit works across all of MFAT to develop and deliver operational policies & processes, so you’ll get to learn about finance, property, diplomatic protocol, security, procurement, and so much more.

 

This role is a hybrid of managing business relationships, publishing content to the BPP, and working on technical needs, so it’s a great chance to show your versatility. In return, you’ll be supported by a team with a wealth of business analysis knowledge, who are excited for you to succeed in this role.

 

Some of the key things you’ll do in this role are:

  • Facilitate policy and process delivery to help address business opportunities
  • Develop dashboard reports and application insights for senior management
  • Plan and deliver the BPM communications strategy
  • Provide quality assurance and peer reviews on new content
  • Collaborate with key IT resources to deliver technical maintenance and application improvements
  • Support and train the business on using the Business Process Portal

The full salary range for this role is $70,784 to $90,446 total remuneration, inclusive of our 3% KiwiSaver employer contribution.

We’d like to hear from you if you are an experienced analyst with the following skills and experience:

 

  • Excellent workload organisation skills
  • Great eye for detail and troubleshooting technical hiccups
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, especially in establishing and maintaining new relationships
  • Familiarity with authoring operational content, like policies and/or processes
  • Ideally, experience with SharePoint or other content management systems
  • Understanding of The Treaty of Waitangi/Te Tiriti, Te Reo Māori and Māori customs and protocols would be beneficial
