We're looking for kaimahi to join our Service Delivery teams around the motu so we can continue to meet the demands of the growth in claims volumes, support change interventions underway and execute on initiatives in the Rehabilitation Performance Improvement Programme (RPIP).
A day in the life of a Review Specialist involves looking at decisions made here in ACC through the eyes of customers and independent reviewers, with a drive to do the right thing at the right time.
You will identify if early resolution is possible with clients & advocates, getting to the core of their conflict with ACC.'Review Specialists attend conciliations when required, and when early resolution is not possible and we are confident our decision is robust, we represent ACC at review hearings.
We work with and manage reviews across all areas of ACC, which means that no two days are the same. You will have plenty of variety in your work and autonomy in your day-to-day work to make a real difference to the customer experience. From day one, we offer great support, including a strong induction programme to get you up to speed.
We have multiple permanent positions available based in Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton or Wellington.

You will need to be someone who can feel with their heart but think with their head, someone who can listen and ensure our customers feel heard, someone who can navigate through conflict, and someone with a proven track record of excellent communication leading to great results. To be successful, you will also have:
- A real love of problem solving and peeling back the layers to find the core of the issue
- Personal resilience as you will be working with people experiencing challenging circumstances
- Excellent communication skills including building rapport with internal and external clients, and the ability to have challenging conversations
- Confidence in managing time well and prioritising multiple demands
- A passion for understanding ACC legislation, related case law and how this applies to our decisions here at ACC
- It is advantageous if you have an understanding of Tikanga, Maori Dispute Resolution, Te Reo, and/or have experience with levies and business customers.
