Mō te tūranga mahi | About the role
We are looking for a permanent Salesforce Engineering Lead (Salesforce Platform Technical Lead) with Apex and LWC experience to join our team at ACC. Ideally you will be located in Wellington however we are open to other areas of New Zealand.
As the Salesforce Engineering Lead, you'll deliver high-quality solutions for our customers on existing Salesforce orgs and lead technical delivery. You'll collaborate with the Platform Operations team to maintain a secure, supportable platform.
Working in a cross-functional delivery team, you will create detailed designs aligned with solution architecture and act as a Dev Lead by approving Pull Requests and providing technical governance, ensuring adherence to Salesforce best practices.
Our Salesforce environment is a complex platform with multiple clouds using more than one Salesforce product including Lightning Platform, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, Marketing Cloud and Omnistudio.
You will support and enhance a complex, growing platform with multiple apps and tools. Deliver transparent, integrated, and fit-for-purpose change continuously across ACC.
Ngā Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills'
- At least 3 years of experience working as a Senior Salesforce Engineer or Salesforce Technical Lead (certified application and system architect would be an advantage)
- Experience completing complex technical design involving multiple components and delivery partners to develop high-level solution and implementation plan
- Salesforce application solutioning and design for enterprise scaled implementation experience
- Comprehensive working knowledge of architectural principles, software development processes and DevOps practices in a Salesforce environment
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce best practices and standards
- Proven track record of leading Salesforce delivery and technical teams
- A knowledge of salesforce identity solutions and Omni Studio components would be an advantage

- Contribute to and lead the requirements gathering, design, development, implementation and delivery on the Salesforce platform ensuring that Salesforce best practice standards are being followed.
- Be a strong communicator and problem solver in a fast paced ever changing environment
- Support and mentor Salesforce Platform Engineers growth through pair programming, reviews, knowledge sharing, mentoring and demonstration of engineering best-practices
- Proactively contribute to the success of the Salesforce community within ACC
- Have a genuine passion for Salesforce capabilities and tools to deliver high quality solutions, inspired by best practices.'

The salary range for this role is $138,301 - $195,248 with appointment depending on skills and experience and internal team relativities. ACC also offers 9% superannuation.'
