About the Role

The Special Care Baby Units (SCBU) at North Shore and Waitākere Hospitals are seeking expressions of interest for Registered Nurses, skilled in neonatal care and who will be an excellent fit with our teams.

We have permanent part time and full time roles available in each individual unit.

About Us

Health New Zealand Waitematā SCBU teams provide care for babies born as early as 32 weeks, and as small as 1500g, who require neonatal support. We are dedicated to providing a nurturing and supportive learning environment, pride ourselves on our team culture and values, and on the excellent nursing care we provide in partnership to infants and their families. We value the contribution that nurses make and support their professional growth and development.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A current APC with the NZ Nursing Council
  • Experience working in neonatal care.
  • Demonstrated effective team work
  • Knowledge of whānau-centred care principles and demonstrated ability to apply this into practice
