Mō te tūranga mahi | About the role
As a Senior'System Analyst in our People Applications Optimisation team, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring ACC's People Platforms, specifically Oracle HCM, are performing to expectation and that opportunities to resolve issues or enhance experiences are coordinated and informed with appropriate technical rigour. You will support the wider team as it implements its approved plan, ensuring that implications on other people platforms are identified, considered and managed to avoid unanticipated service disruption.
Ultimately, the role purpose is to lift the technical capability, resilience and business rigour of People and Cultures People Applications Optimisation team, helping to ensure that ACC has people platforms that deliver the capabilities required to achieve our aspirations.
This is a permanent role. Wellington based is preferred, but we will also consider Auckland.

Mōu | About you
The People Applications Optimisation team at ACC has a broad portfolio of products and responsibilities and our team has a wide range of technical skills, so a willingness and ability to develop and learn quickly as we modernise, move our systems into the cloud and introduce new capabilities, will be essential. You'll be stepping into a role where you can create change and identify improvements in day-to-day activities.
  • The successful candidate must have at least 3 years of experience working with Oracle HCM.
  • A detailed understanding of Oracle HCM and experience working with various functional areas is required. This would include Core, Recruiting, Performance, Security, Goals and Performance and System administration
  • Peoplesoft knowledge (as an administrator) advantageous
  • You will have strong SQL writing skills
  • Knowledge of Payroll would be a bonus
  • Experience with System design, Architecture, Data integrity and Migration work in the HR / people space.
  • Experience with using your specialist expertise to coach and mentor others to grow their capability, and offer an escalation point to resolve complex issues and manage risk.
  • A passion for exploring root causes and customer-focused solution design using a variety of tools and applications.
  • High levels of customer focus, initiative, and self-motivation: you will be a self-starter, not waiting for direction when it comes to identifying system challenges or improvements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • A willingness to continually learn and grow as our technology grows.

The salary range for this role is $101,287 - $142,993 with appointment depending on skills and experience and internal team relativities. ACC also offers 9% superannuation.'
