Auckland Metropolitan Region – Te Toka Tumai, Counties Manukau and Waitemata - Permanent Full-Time – Emergency Medicine Registrar

About the Role

  • Variation in practice across a large number of clinicians, hospitals, and departments in a range of urban centres
  • Rotations in ICU, Anaesthesia, CED, General Paediatrics, and New Zealand’s only Paediatric ICU
  • Complete your full ACEM training in Tāmaki Makaurau

About the Team/Service/ Location

Great pastoral care, including continuing employment meetings with the chairs of the vocational training programme, departmental DEMT contact, and formal mentor programme

 About you

  • Preferred experience: 3 months’ Emergency Medicine or General Paediatric/Paediatric ED time
  •  Eligibility for general scope registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand

  • We strongly recommend that you apply as early as possible during the application period as interviews for this specialty are highly competitive.

 

  • Applications close: 5PM Monday 9 June 2025 

  • Interviews held: Wednesday 25 June 2025 and Friday 27 June 2025

  • Offers to successful applicants: Monday 18 August 2025
