• Support patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures
• Fixed term 12 months covering Parental leave
• 0.7FTE (56 hours a fortnight, Working Monday to Friday between 0800- 1830)

About the Role

We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse to join our surgical outpatient team that supports a variety of services including: general surgery, ORL, urology, plastics, ophthalmology, gynaecology, Orthopaedics, minor procedures and a preadmissions clinic.

About You

You will bring the following skills and experience:

• Outpatient, surgical and ophthalmology experience preferred
• A commitment to providing a quality service and being part of a high performing team
• Versatility and flexibility
• Current Registered Nurse registration and NZNC practising certificate
• Post graduate qualifications or working towards.

This position would suit a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has great assessment and time management skills, is confident in their practice, can work autonomously and can relate well to a wide variety of stakeholders including patients, families and our multidisciplinary teams.
