Registered nurse Flight team at Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Tairāwhiti, Gisborne

Registered Nurse Flight Team 0.5 FTE permanent  (positions up to 0.5 FTE will be considered)

We require registered nurses with at least 5 years experience in acute care (emergency/ICU/CCU) to join our nurse lead flight team in sunny Gisborne flying patients to and from our tertiary hospital and other hospitals and clinics around New Zealand.

Essential attributes are:

Registered Nurse with a current APC

Current Advanced CORE (or ACLS) certificate

Requirement to complete further training specific to flight nursing and other relevant courses

Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team

Proven communication and excellent physical assessment skills

Ability to work independently with patients and whanau across the lifespan with complex health needs under the direction of our medical director
