Location: Ward 7 Kenepuru Hospital,
Contract: Permanent, Part Time (0.9 ) FTE Rostered and Rotating

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our committed team in a fast paced busy surgical ward (ward 7). You will have the opportunity to care for post-operative patients aged 16 years and over covering many surgical specialities including Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Urology, as well as vascular and Rehabilitation.
The successful applicant will have sound clinical nursing skills, a strong patient focus, and enthusiasm for working in a supportive team environment. You will be passionate about nursing clinical excellence, innovation and ongoing professional development. Experience in criteria-led discharge and supporting efficient patient flow will be an advantage. The role has rostered and rotating shifts.

Ward 7 is a friendly, fast-paced surgical ward where teamwork and collaboration are at the heart of what we do. We take pride in providing excellent post-operative care and supporting each other to achieve the best outcomes for our patients.
About you
The ideal candidate will already have:
- Registration with NZ Nursing Council.
- Current Annual Practicing Certificate.
- Current NZ Work visa.
- Surgical nursing experience minimum 2 years.
- Committed to on-going learning.
