Assessor - Contract Assurance (Napier) at Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities , Hawkes Bay

  • Maintain high quality standards of service delivery from Maintenance Partners
  • Provide technical maintenance advice and recommendations
  • Permanent roles, salary $96,227 + 5 weeks' annual leave and insurance benefits

 

Te whiwhinga mahi - Our opportunity

In this role, you will thrive in being part of the wider central North Island team and being able to contribute to the wider national assurance team.  You will be responsible for the efficient delivery of quality assurance assessments, the analysis and accurate reporting of assessment findings, and provision of technical advice, support and recommendations to Kāinga Ora staff and maintenance partners.

You'll work closely and collaboratively with internal business groups and our maintenance partners to problem solve issues and contribute to providing solutions that will achieve positive outcomes for Kāinga Ora.

Please note that as this role requires regular travel a full, clean NZ drivers licence is a prerequisite.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring

 

  • Working knowledge of residential building maintenance practices (a trade qualification would be a distinct advantage).
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and apply Kāinga Ora maintenance standards, legislative, regulatory and building code requirements as they relate to work undertaken
  • Demonstrated knowledge in quality systems and processes
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and proven ability to build and maintain working relationships
  • Proven ability to build and maintain working relationships
  • Current full NZ Driver's Licence
