Recovery Coordinator - Integrated - Hamilton at Accident Compensation Corporation, Waikato

As case numbers continue to rise, we're seeking new Level 1 coordinators to support clients on their journey back to independence. If you're looking for a role that offers both challenge and opportunity, this could be the perfect fit.

About the Role | Mō te tūranga mahi

Our Integrated Recovery team supports clients who've been unemployed long-term but have strong rehabilitation potential. Each client is paired with a dedicated Recovery Coordinator who provides tailored support to help them recover from injury and re-enter the workforce.

You'll collaborate with providers, employers, and community networks to remove barriers and facilitate recovery. This service is specifically for clients with claims extending beyond 365 days.

About You | Mōu

You may bring:

  • Strong communication skills - Able to explain complex information clearly and listen with empathy.
  • Curiosity - Keen to learn and apply legislation and technical data.
  • Adaptability - Skilled at managing time and adjusting plans to meet client needs.
  • Resilience - Able to support clients through tough situations while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Full, clean NZ driver's licence - Some travel may be required.
  • Experience in case management or public sector - Helpful but not essential.

What You Can Expect | Ngā Kawatau

  • Salary: Starting at $70,000 + 9% superannuation
  • Annual performance reviews linked to pay increases

Work-life balance:

  • Monday to Friday only - no nights, weekends, or public holidays
  • 40 hours per week between 8am and 5:30pm
