About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Ward team at Hawkes Bay Hospital. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing a range of surgical procedures. As part of a multidisciplinary team, youll be responsible for delivering safe, patient-centred care while working in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. About the Team/Service/ Location

Our Surgical Ward provides post-operative care for patients undergoing general, urological, ENT, vascular, and colorectal surgery. Youll be part of a supportive and highly skilled team that works collaboratively to deliver excellence in patient care. Located at Hawkes Bay Hospital, youll enjoy working in a modern facility serving a diverse and growing community.

About you

You will be a New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current APC and a genuine interest in surgical nursing. Were looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to providing patient-centred care. Previous surgical or acute experience is desirable, but not essential we welcome applicants who are motivated to learn and grow in this area.
