Podiatrist Part Time (0.6 FTE / 24 hrs per week)

Diabetes Service, Waitematā District

We have an exciting opportunity for a NZ Registered Podiatrist to join our Diabetes Service, providing specialist care to people at high risk of diabetes-related foot disease. This permanent, part-time role (48 hours per fortnight) involves working across North Shore and Waitakere Hospitals as well as community clinics.

About the Role

As part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will:

• Deliver podiatry services within the Diabetes High Risk Foot Service
• Manage patients with diabetes who are at risk of foot disease or have active complications
• Work collaboratively with diabetes and podiatry colleagues in both hospital and community settings

About You

We are seeking someone who:

• Is a NZ Registered Podiatrist with a current Annual Practicing Certificate (General)
• Has at least 2 years clinical experience, ideally with exposure to diabetes foot care
• Brings strong clinical skills and a commitment to wound management and high-risk foot care
• Enjoys working in a multi-disciplinary environment while also being confident practicing independently
• Demonstrates a patient-centred/whānau approach and applies the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in clinical practice
• Has a positive, can-do attitude and values working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
