About the Role

As Clinical Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the Partnership Team and the work we do with tamariki, rangatahi, and their whānau. This role offers a blend of leadership and clinical practice, with a strong focus on helping clinicians feel supported, confident, and well-connected in their work.

About the Team/Service/ Location

The Kari Centre is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to lead our Partnership Team, a multidisciplinary group delivering time-limited therapeutic interventions for children, young people, and their whānau across central Auckland.

This is a meaningful leadership role that combines clinical expertise, team support, and service development and is ideal for a clinician who enjoys bringing people together and shaping how care is delivered

About you

We welcome applications from clinicians who are enthusiastic about child and adolescent mental health and enjoy supporting colleagues whilst contributing to a team environment. You will communicate clearly and work well in multidisciplinary setting. You will be motivated to develop leadership skills within a supportive service.

  • Be a first point of support for clinicians seeking guidance or a space to think through complex presentations
  • Help shape smooth, effective care pathways for children, young people, and families
  • Support the teams day-to-day functioning, ensuring clinicians have what they need to deliver timely, high-quality care
  • Foster a positive, collaborative team culture
  • Contribute to service development and the implementation of quality improvements
  • Collaborate closely with the Clinical Team Leader, Lead Clinician, and wider leadership group

Minimum requirements:

  • You will be NZ registered with a current APC (Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing, or Child Psychotherapy)
  • Hold a full, clean NZ driver licence

This role is well suited to someone who enjoys supporting others, contributing to team wellbeing, and having a wider impact on service delivery.
