About the Role

As a Registered Nurse Respiratory (Outpatients), you will play a vital role in delivering respiratory care and education to patients across the Tairāwhiti region. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to assess, manage, and support people with chronic respiratory conditions. You will assist with clinics, provide community outreach, and be instrumental in enhancing care pathways for patients with conditions such as COPD and asthma.

Our Respiratory service is a small but passionate team committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care. You will be part of a supportive environment that encourages clinical growth, cultural awareness, and innovation in care delivery.

About you

We would like to hear from you if you have:

• Respiratory or Medical Nursing experience is preferred
• Postgraduate study preferred
• Local community knowledge would be of benefit
• A current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand
