About this role | Mō tēnei tūranga

 

As a Senior Education Adviser ECE you will play a critical role in our region’s Learning Support team by: 

 

  • Follow Ministry processes to assess regulatory framework when licensing new services, change of management, licensing assessments, complaint or incident investigation, identify non-compliant and gather evidence and make recommendations.
  • Work in a collaborative way with key stakeholders to provide timely, accurate, quality implementation advice and support, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and obligations.
  • Support the ECE team to provide high quality service to the sector, the Ministry and Government.

 

 

Salary range: $84,425 - $91,563 per annum + 3% kiwi saver. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.

About you | Mōhou ake

 

To be successful you will need:

 

  • A tertiary qualification in early childhood education or other relevant discipline.
  • Understanding of early learning services, early childhood curriculum and licensing criteria for early learning services.
  • The ability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tirirti o Waitangi and tangata whenuatanga
  • A full drivers licence
  • The ability and willingness to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.
