Anaesthetic Technician Educator at Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland, Auckland

About the Role

The role of Educator clinical coach has arisen within Āhua Tohu Pōkangia / Perioperative Services Directorate- Anaesthetic Technician Education team. This team facilitates, teaches, and mentors all students within the anaesthetic assistance pathway who are travelling through our multiple departments.

You will be able to navigate, not just the students journey but also the necessary relationships with each Charge person to provide a seamless transition through their placements and into employment here at Te Toka Tumai.

We are looking for a registered AT or registered nurse with a passion for education. You must have a suitable qualification in anaesthetic assistance (AT or RNAA) and be able to adapt and inspire our next generation of critical thinkers in the field of Anaesthetic Assistance. You will have had recent experience in the development of education for Anaesthetic Technicians. This is a 1FTE designated position, flexible working arrangements maybe negotiated.

The successful candidate will display the ability to prioritise an ever-evolving workload and be able to shine within a well aligned education team.

You will contribute to developing further the anaesthetic workforce education opportunities, plans and strategic objectives and our flexible workforce project, that we here at Te Toka Tumai resonate.
