Regulatory and Identity Services (Taituarā) has an important role - helping make New Zealand better for New Zealanders.

One of the roles is Advisor Change and Transition.

We're looking for someone who can understand change for our kaimahi, customers and partners to help develop and deliver change and transition activities to support them embed and adopt change.

The right person for this role will have experience, knowledge and able to:

  • Identify change implications/impacts and assess what it means for our kaimahi, customers and partners, including interpretation of data and ways of working.
  • Support the development, execution and delivery of business-aligned change strategies and plans (using your knowledge of change management principles and frameworks).
  • Communicate, develop, and manage relationships and expectations with key stakeholders, including senior managers using a variety of methods, written, oral and presentations.
  • Work closely with other enabling change capabilities such as communications and engagement; design and organisational development (OD)
  • Provide ad hoc change management advice and business improvement advice.
  • Understand government structures, processes, and business operating environments/operating context.
  • Identify risks and issues with and mitigations using sound judgement on complex and critical issues
