About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi

As a'Payments Officer'you will be responsible for accurate, timely and efficient processing of claim and treatment related payment transactions. 'These positions are based at our Auckland (Newmarket), Wellington and Dunedin offices.

A large part of this role is data entry, so you will need to be a bit of a whizz on the keyboard with an eagle eye for detail to ensure we get things right for our customers.'

Some of the day-to-day activities in this role include:

  • Authorising and processing payments for our providers in a timely manner
  • Resolution of enquires (either over the phone or email)
  • Entering and updating invoices into our system
  • This is a full-time role (40 hours a week), working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 6pm.

We are recruiting for the Level 1 Payments Officer role, this role has a set start date of 16 March 2026.

We're looking for people who:

  • Communicate clearly and work well with others.
  • Have exceptional attention to detail and can maintain accuracy even when things get busy.
  • Are confident using technology and quick to learn new systems.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and can manage a high volume of administrative tasks.

Previous experience in a high-volume administrative or data entry role would be great, but it's not essential.
