About the Role
As an Administration Assistant, you will primarily be based at Reception in the Radiology Department, Whangarei Hospital. You will welcome and receive patients to the designated area in the Radiology Department of Whangarei Hospital, escorting them to the appropriate area. In this capacity, you will receive referrals and telephone calls and queries for a specific service area, either the Main Entrance or General X-ray/CT/Ultrasound/MRI. You will also be required to accurately add patient and exam data into the radiology information system.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will be able to maintain composure and focus under pressure, especially in fast-paced or emotionally demanding situations and have a clear and effective communication with patients, whanau, and colleagues.
- Secondary school education to Level 2/Year 12 or equivalent work experience
- Computer skill with knowledge of Microsoft software including Word and Excel
- Working with Public within a service industry
- Current drivers licence

- Radiology Information systems: PACS, Karisma
- Hospital systems Webpas, RCP
- Previous health related employment
