About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi

We one permanent and two temporary opportunities to join ACC as an Operations Administrator. Temporary roles are fixed term until 30 June 2026 or 31 January 2027.

These are Wellington CBD based opportunities.

As an Operations Administrator in the Levy Administration team, you'll be managing and completing a range of high-volume transactional processing activities for business customer policies, including applications, changes, payments, and account updates. You'll communicate with customers to clarify details, resolve issues, and provide support for online services.

What you'll need to succeed in this role:

  • You have excellent computer and processing skills and demonstrate resilience in managing repetitive tasks efficiently.
  • You are a team player and proactive in nature, able to maintain motivation and focus even during routine work.
  • You have demonstrated customer services skills with the ability to outline clear needs professionally and courteously, even in high-volume situations.
  • You are self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  • You're naturally an organised person who likes working with processes and understands when and where to identify escalation points, all while maintaining consistency in your work.
  • You have excellent communication skills including building rapport with internal and external clients, and the ability to have challenging conversations via outbound calls, showing resilience in handling diverse interactions.

You'll be part of a collaborative and supportive team who value self-development and the exchange of ideas to improve the invoicing experience for our business customers. This is an interesting and fast-paced role, and you'll have plenty of variety to keep you challenged and constantly learning.

The starting base salary for this role is from $60,486. ACC also offers 9% superannuation on top of base salary.
