About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Health New Zealand and play a crucial role in managing the nursing portfolio within Health New Zealand, Hawkes Bay, directly contributing to achieving national health targets. As a Experienced Recruitment Advisor, you will provide strategic and operational recruitment guidance, advice, and support to people leaders. You will be responsible for delivering candidate-centric recruitment services, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers. Additionally, you will mentor and support junior team members and lead portfolio-specific projects and recruitment events.

About the Team/Service/ Location

Working alongside clinical leaders, this role leads endtoend recruitment for complex and highpriority portfolios, balancing strategic workforce planning with handson delivery in a team that is collaborative, valuesled, and committed to doing things well. Youll work in a closeknit, purposedriven recruitment team, partnering with clinicians and leaders to deliver thoughtful, candidatecentric recruitment while supporting each other through change and continuous improvement. This role sits at the heart of a transforming health system, delivering highimpact recruitment alongside a team that values innovation, inclusivity, and collective problemsolving

About you

We are seeking an experienced, resilient senior recruiter who can partner with clinical leaders to deliver highimpact, candidatecentred recruitment in a complex and evolving healthcare environment.

• Experience in senior recruitment or talent role.
• Knowledge of NZ legislation and its application in a large, complex organisation.
• Experience working in the public health sector is preferred.
• Strong relationship management skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
• A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
