Administrator Support Community Oral Health Service

Based in Rotorua 

Permanent position - 40 hour weekly

Monday Friday

About the Role

The Team Administrator provides administrative support to the Community Oral Health Service clinical team. Daily tasks may include assisting Rotorua, Taupo and Turangi service requirements and clinics with scheduling needs, organising internal and external administrative duties and supporting the service to provide timely and efficient dental health services.


About the Team

The Community Oral Health Service provides dental services to children across Rotorua, Taupo and Turangi. The service operates community fixed dental clinics, mobile dental units and also provides oral health education and promotion activities. The COHS is a dedicated multi-skilled team of Dental Therapists, Oral Health Therapists and Dental Assistants.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience working in a team administration for one - two plus years
  • A positive attitude with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • At least two years of customer service experience
  • Well-developed communication and critical thinking skills and skills in Microsoft applications
  • The ability to prioritise work and take proactive approach to manage their time and workload
  • A strong commitment to quality healthcare
  • Be capable of working independently and within a team
