Senior People and Performance Partner at Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children, Wellington

Mō te tūnga | About the role
Come and join our awesome team within the People and High-Performance team providing excellent people advice to senior leaders and their leadership teams on all aspects of HR.

In this role you will support the delivery of strategic and operational business outcomes with a focus on organisational design and change management in one of our key frontline portfolios. 

You’ll also provide senior advice around employee engagement, workforce planning, talent management, succession planning and HR projects.  

You’ll work alongside our wider People team, interacting daily with our ER and IR teams, Recruitment team, Payroll and Reporting team, HR Coordination and Advisory teams, supporting their mahi.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring
We’re looking for a passionate, pragmatic Senior HR Business partner that can provide well informed and strategic advice to senior stakeholders. Our ideal candidate has:
•    At least 5 years' experience in an HR business partner role
•    Proven experience as a strong trusted advisor to senior leaders
•    Thorough knowledge of current NZ employment law and HR practices
•    Understanding of HR best practice in both the private and public sectors
•    Strong Organisational Design and Change Management experience
•    Experience working across front-line, community-based portfolios
•    Ability to lead and influence leaders across different levels of seniority 
•    Comfortable in your practice that is inclusive of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture

Annual remuneration for this position starts between $125,926 and $139,459 dependant on experience.
